Samuel Havron | sgh7cc | 2018

Favorite Part of Engineering:

My favorite part of studying in the engineering school is being able to learn how tools that humans use every day work, from a high abstract level to a low machine level. Using that  knowledge to create more useful tools is like magic!

Resident Advisor, Cavalier Marching Band and UVA Wind Ensemble, Engineering Students Without Borders, Research Assistant in Secure Computing Applications

I like to take long hiking and biking trips, play Pokémon, and spend time with friends and family.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?

Dr. Horrible from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, or Roxas from Kingdom Hearts. They’d get me.

Enjoy your short time as a first-year, and make the most of your meal plan!
