Who We Are

 

The DAEDALUS Project is a CIO (Contracted Independent Organization) at the University of Virginia that aims to teach basic concepts and important skills in each engineering major to first-years and transfers to the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). We offer hands-on, project-based seminar series in the following disciplines:

  • Aerospace Engineering

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Chemical Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

  • Computer Engineering and Science

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Systems Engineering

Each seminar series consists of three or four seminars. Taught by upperclassmen students, each seminar lasts about 90 minutes and is designed to showcase different aspects of each major.Feel free to email the Executive Board if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
