What advice would you give to your first-year self?
Don't be afraid to try new things and go out of your comfort zone. The community here at UVA is overwhelmingly supportive; take advantage of every opportunity the school has to offer, both engineering and otherwise

If you could be any fictional character, who would you be and why?
One of many fictional characters that I would like to be is Rim Okumura from Ao no Exorcist. His immense power and willingness to fight for what he thinks is right (yeah, so cliche). The fact that he isn't even that overpowered is what makes him more admirable.
What advice would you give to your first-year self?
Get into an extracurricular and put your heart's content into it! If it doesn't go the way you thought it would be, there's plenty of others extracurriculars that you can join! (Don't be shy and attack what peaks your interest!)

I love to be out on the water, and I enjoy reading and doing jigsaw puzzles

I would be Ginny Weasley, while she isn't as central a character to the story you see here mature and really change
What advice would you give to your first-year self?
I would tell myself to try to participate in as much as you can, don't just sign up for something and never do it, actually show up to the meetings and events
